Who wouldn’t love to harvest their own fresh fruits and vegetables?! That’s our hope as we embark on our first gardening journey! We’ve researched, planned, planted and carefully cared for a variety of little seedlings and sprouts. This year’s hope is to learn which plants like to grow on our little Georgia homestead, and which ones do not. Follow us through the ups and downs, as we take note of and share each success and failure along the way.

We are huge fans of DIY projects here at Everett Mountain! Not only does “doing it yourself” save money, but it also creates a sense of accomplishment that can’t be bought at a store. From predator-proofing a chicken coop to creating a watering system for the garden, we’ve got plenty of projects under our belts!
